Well………
My name is Swen and this is my first blog. I’m having such a great time discovering all sorts of fantastic new things lately that I think it would be a crime to keep them all to myself. By blogging some of these stories and experiences I’m presuming that they might be of interest to you.
Like earlier when I was on my way home after a day in our office (I work for noggin, we provide you with options and possibilities). Walking through the crowds of people busy with their Christmas shopping on this slightly rainy Friday afternoon I suddenly had this sinking feeling I’d forgotten something, you ever have that feeling? Navigating my way through the shoppers and office workers on their way to the pub this feeling wouldn’t go away.
After crossing the street and with my keys in my hand to open the door it dawned on me what I forgot, my fridge is completely empty and that’s not what you call a great start of the weekend! Right…….. back through the rain and the crowds to the nearest supermarket. I’ll spare you the details of my journey through Sainsbury’s, it was at the check-outs where fascinating event happened.
Imagine seven tills with seven rather long queues. In front of me was an older gentleman, 60 years old maybe? He was clearly not happy with queuing up, jumping from one foot to another and feverishly looking around at how fast the others were moving. After 5 minutes or so he started to voice his opinion about the lady at the till, followed by his view of the store management. During all of this he started to go from red to purple in the face whilst clenching his fists. The fascinating thing for me was that for me queuing wasn’t a problem at all and I didn’t see anyone else in state like his either, some were on the phone and others were listening to their iPod…………. so I guess my question here is do you create your own problems, does your problem only exist for you?
My intention is to share some of my everyday experiences and thoughts like this one with you via this blog. I don’t know what you’re thinking right now, whether you think this is interesting or not. Either way, I hope your weekends get off to a better start than my ‘Sainsbury’s man’s’!

Hey Swen, welcome to the Blogosphere!!
